SPECIAL WINERY DINNER in October AT TAMBA WINE, Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba

On Saturday, October 18th, a special dinner event with Tamba wine will be held exclusively for guests of Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba. This time, enjoy an autumn dinner featuring a tour of Tamba Chestnut Farm run by Mr. Yoshiki Sakakibara, a special course filled with chestnuts, and Tamba wine. During the farm tour, Mr. Sakakibara will give a small talk on how Tamba chestnuts are grown in the unique climate of the Tamba region, which has large temperature differences between day and night.

 

One of the wines paired with the chestnut-themed dinner is “Kyoto Tamba Semillon Late Harvest 2016.” This exquisite wine, produced in very limited quantities, has a concentrated, rich aroma reminiscent of citrus and honey, and a gentle acidity. Be sure to savor the other wines carefully selected by Tamba Wine to complement the dinner.
