Special Winery Dinner in November at Tamba Wine, Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba

On Saturday, November 28th, a special dinner event with Tamba wine will be held exclusively for guests of Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba. The theme for November 2026 is “A Night of Fine Wine and Sake from Kyotamba ~ A Cross-Pairing Dinner Featuring Tamba Wine and “Chourou” With Master Brewer Wataru Terai of Chourou Brewery ~”. We are pleased to welcome Mr. Wataru Terai, the owner and master brewer of Chourou Sake Brewery—the only sake brewery in Kyotamba Town that uses the Tamba-grown sake rice variety “Gohyakumangoku” and Kyotamba’s groundwater—as our special guest.

At this dinner event, where Kyotamba’s leading wineries and sake breweries come together, we will offer “cross-pairings” designed to bring out the best in each beverage’s unique character. The pairings will feature selections such as Chourou’s “Limited Edition Junmai Ginjo Nama Genshu” and Tamba Wine’s “Kyoto Tamba Pinot Noir 2023”. Alongside a special dinner course featuring seasonal ingredients, we invite you to savor the fine beverages of Kyotamba and fully experience the distinct personalities and flavors of each drink.
