Experience a Winery Tour & Nouveau Wine Tasting with Sera Winery! Fairfield by Marriott Hiroshima Sera

On Saturday, November 14, experience a special “Winery Tour & Nouveau Wine Tasting” event at Fairfield by Marriott Hiroshima Sera, in collaboration with “Sera Winery” in Sera Town, Hiroshima Prefecture. This event is open to guests staying at the hotel that day.

Sera Town is a region with significant temperature fluctuations between day and night, making it ideal for fruit cultivation. At Sera Winery, taking advantage of this natural environment, they exclusively use grapes grown by contracted farmers in the town and are dedicated to producing Japanese wine without relying on imported concentrated grape juice.

In the first part of the event, enjoy a winery tour. Guided by Yuta Hashimoto, Head Winemaker at Sera Winery, you’ll explore the winemaking facilities and experience firsthand the story of how the region’s unique terroir is transformed into wine.

In the second part, move to the hotel, where we’ll host a wine tasting featuring Sera Winery’s Facility Manager and sommelier, Yasuharu Hata, highlighting Sera wines—including the newly released Nouveau.

The highlight of this event is the 2026 Nouveau— a special wine newly released on October 31 that features fresh fruit aromas and a crisp, refreshing taste. In addition to the Nouveau, we’ll also be offering several other wines produced by Sera Winery. Children and guests who prefer not to drink alcohol can also enjoy grape juice made from Sera-grown grapes.
