Local Photo Tourism Event Held at Sera Kogen Farm in Sera Town, Hiroshima Prefecture! Fairfield by Marriott Hiroshima Sera

On Sunday, October 11 through October 12, in collaboration with “Sera Kogen Farm”—one of Japan’s largest flower tourism farms located in Sera Town, Hiroshima Prefecture—we will host the “Local Photo Tourism <Autumn>” experiential event for guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Hiroshima Sera. At this event, you’ll discover the unique autumn charms of Sera Town through a special photo session—held before the farm opens to the public with photographer Mariko Yamamoto as the instructor—and a guided tour of the area led by a local tourism navigator.
This is a special opportunity to photograph a variety of autumn flowers while touring Sera Kogen Farm and Flower Village Kamu no Sato, two of Sera Town’s most iconic floral tourist attractions. We invite you to join us on this journey to capture the unique beauty of autumn in Sera Town through your photographs.
■ Pre Reception & Dinner ― Optional Participation, separate Fee ―
On the evening of the first day, a reception and dinner will be held at “Setugetsufuka Fukuchiin,” a Japanese tea café in Sera Town. Join us as we enjoy a vegetarian spice curry made with local ingredients and socialize with other participants, alongside photographer Mariko Yamamoto and Isuzu Yoshimune, the owner of Fukuchiin and this event’s tour guide.
*Separate fee of approximately 2,000 yen applies for this event. Payment is required when registering online.
■ A special photo tour to capture the autumn flowers that brighten Sera Town
On the second day, please enjoy photographing the dahlia fields at the Sera Kogen Farm, which will be private for our group before the park opens to the public, while receiving a lecture from Ms. Mariko Yamamoto. After some free time for exploring and lunch on your own, we’ll move on to “Flower Village Kamu no Sato,” where you’ll shoot the “Autumn Patchwork Flower Field,” a vibrant tapestry of vividly colored kochia and multicolored cosmos.
After the photo session, Ms. Yamamoto will lead a review session at “Flower Village Kamu no Sato.” Using the photos you’ve taken, you’ll receive advice on composition and lighting techniques—please enjoy this opportunity to broaden your photographic expression. In addition to the photo session, tour guide Isuzu Yoshimune will introduce you to the highlights, history, and charm of daily life in Sera Town.
