An Exciting Family Nature Exploration: Insect Hunting Experience. Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Kannabe Highland
On Saturday, July 18, Sunday, July 19, Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25, we will be hosting an insect-collecting activity in collaboration with Michi-no-Eki Kannabe Kogen for guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Kannabe Highland.
The Kannabe Highlands in Hyogo Prefecture is an area blessed with a rich natural environment, featuring gentle mountains, vast forests, and pristine waterways. Home to a diverse array of living creatures, this region is also an ideal habitat for insects. In this event, guided by staff who know the local natural environment inside and out, you'll walk through nature and search for insects.

*Due to popular demand, the events on the 19 (Sun) and 25 (Sat) are now fully booked.

The event will take place in light rain.
*A decision on whether to hold the event will be made by the day before the event, depending on the weather conditions.
Eligibility
Children in elementary school or younger staying at Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Kannabe Kogen on the day of the event, and their guardians
Price
1,000 yen per person *Please make a payment at the front desk when you check in. (Cash not accepted)
*If no insects are found, each group will receive two rhinoceros beetles as a gift.
Capacity
3 groups per day (maximum of 4 guests per group)
Attire and Footwear
Long sleeve shirt, Long pants, Cap or Hat
*Please come in comfortable clothes. We recommend that you wear boots.
Attire and What to bring:
Insect basket (in which soil can be put), insect net, Food for the insects you catch (such as insect jelly)
insect repellent spray, ointment for insect bites, work gloves, towels, and drinks
