A spectacular variety of fireworks launched along the riverside lights up the summer night sky against the scenic backdrop of the Kiso River. The finale features a breathtaking series of rapid-fire starmines, accompanied by powerful and dynamic Japanese taiko drum performances.
Parking: Approximately 500 spaces are available at the following locations: Minokamo City Hall, Ota Elementary School, Chuo Gymnasium, and Nakasendo Parking Lot.
Parking lots typically fill up before 14:00. The use of public transportation is strongly recommended.
The Ai-Ai Bus operates from a bus stop near the hotel and can take you to Mino-Ota Station, which is approximately a 17-minute walk from the fireworks venue. The fare is 100 yen anywhere on the route.
Traffic restrictions will be in place around the venue on the day of the event.

A grand princess procession featuring Princess Kazunomiya, who married the 14th shogun, Tokugawa Iemochi, along with princesses who married successive shoguns, samurai, and servants, takes place around the Ota-juku Nakasendo Hall.
The festival invites visitors into the world of history with a spectacular, picture-scroll-like procession as its main attraction. Throughout the day, visitors can also enjoy a variety of handmade festival activities, including stage performances and a traditional market featuring local food, crafts, and goods.
