Special Winery Dinner in July at Tamba Wine, Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba

On Saturday, July 25th, a special dinner event with Tamba wine will be held exclusively for guests of Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba. This event features Mr. Norimasa Kakiuchi, a game hunter based in Kyotamba Town, Kyoto Prefecture, as our special guest. Following a talk by Mr. Kakiuchi—representative of “Kakiuchi Venison,” a Kyoto-based game meat brand that was the first to receive certification under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries’ domestic game meat certification system—you will have the opportunity to watch a live demonstration of deboning venison thigh meat up close. After learning about the background of the ingredients and the producer’s philosophy, please enjoy a dinner featuring an array of venison dishes.

We will be serving a total of four wines, carefully selected by Tamba Wine to complement your dinner, starting with the full-bodied red wine “Kyoto Tamba Tana 2022,” crafted from the globally rare “Tana” grape variety, which is primarily grown in the Madiran region of southwestern France.
