Early Morning Hike on Mt. Kannabe & Special Breakfast Event at the Summit! Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Kannabe Highland

On Sunday, October 11, and Sunday, November 8, we will host the “Mt. Kannabe Early Morning Hike & Breakfast at the Summit Experience—Savoring the Bounty of the Land Nurtured by Volcanoes” as a collaborative event with Roadside Station Kannabe Kogen for guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Kannabe Highland.
The Kannabe Highlands is a lush, natural highland area stretching across Toyooka City in Hyogo Prefecture, beloved as a destination to enjoy beautiful scenery and a variety of outdoor activities. Additionally, Mt. Kannabe—the region’s iconic landmark—is the youngest volcano in the Kinki region, and a beautiful crater remains at its summit.
This event begins with an early-morning hike up Mt. Kannabe, led by Genki Kitamura, who knows Kannabe's charms inside and out. Enjoy Mr. Kitamura’s unique local insights while taking in autumn’s natural beauty. Upon reaching the summit, savor the “KANNABE ROOTS BOX,” a special breakfast box that lets you enjoy the bounty of Kannabe’s land alongside the highland scenery. Designed with decarbonization and sustainability in mind, the box features ingredients sourced primarily from Kannabe.
Why not embark on a journey to experience the unique charm of the Kannabe Highlands while immersing yourself in its nature, history, and the daily lives of its people?
