Enjoy Matcha Experience at Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Minamiyamashiro  

On Saturday November 22nd, Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Minamiyamashiro

will hold a matcha tea ceremony experience event for our staying guests to savor matcha sourced from Minamiyamashiro Village in Kyoto Prefecture.

 

Minamiyamashiro Village is the only village in Kyoto Prefecture known as the main area producing Uji-Cha. The Michi-no-Eki “Minamiyamashiro-mura,” located next to the hotel, is very popular for its sweets and drinks that feature an abundance of “Muracha” (tea from the village). 

 

Join us for a lecture on how to prepare delicious matcha while listening to Ms. Hasegawa, a Japanese tea instructor, about matcha and the tea ceremony.

Participation is free during the event hours. Spend a relaxing moment and savor the charm of Minamiyamashiro tea.
