Enjoy Japanese Tea Experience at Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Minamiyamashiro  

On Saturday February 28th, Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Minamiyamashiro will hold a tea Experiential Event for our staying guests to delight in Japanese black tea.

Minamiyamashiro Village is the only village in Kyoto Prefecture known as the main area producing Uji-Cha.  Recently, Japanese black tea, characterized by its mellow flavor and made with domestically grown tea leaves, has been gaining attention as a new possibility for Japanese tea. Led by Japanese Tea Instructor Mika Hasegawa, the event offers tasting sessions and hands-on experiences creating original tea bags using Japanese black tea produced in Minamiyamashiro Village.

Be sure to enjoy sweets and drinks made with Mura-cha at the adjacent Michi-no-Eki, “Ocha-no-Kyoto Minamiyamashiro Village.” Why not take this opportunity to embark on a journey to fully experience the unique tea culture of Minamiyamashiro Village?
