“Yoshii Gion Festival”, is one of the most popular summer festivals in Yoshii Town.
During the festival, the town is filled with festivities such as the 10-meter-high decorative Yamagasa floats, Gion-bayashi music, a variety of stalls, school mikoshi, and the Yoshii Ondo parade.
At night, the decorated floats are lit up, creating a different atmosphere from the daytime.

This is a Tanabata Festival held inside a tunnel, which is rare in Japan.
