Jozankei Onsen Stream Carp banner

The "Stream carp banner," a springtime tradition in Jozankei, will celebrate its 39th year in 2025. From April, when the mountains are covered with snow to the mid-May, when fresh green leaves are budding, approximately 400 carp streamers swim in the sky of the hot spring city.

The University of Tokyo`s Botanical Forest Sakura Park

Yamabe, Furano, Hokkaido

There is a row of cherry trees on the both side of the Arboretum. It looks like a wall of cherry trees!
