The "Stream carp banner," a springtime tradition in Jozankei, will celebrate its 40th year in 2026. From April, when the mountains are covered with snow to the mid-May, when fresh green leaves are budding, approximately 400 carp streamers swim in the sky of the hot spring city.

More than 300 cherry trees are blooming at this park in spring. You can also play with animals at petting farm. Recommended to family with children.

The University od Tokyo`s Botanical Forest Sakura Park
Yamabe, Furano, Hokkaido

There is a row of cherry trees on the both side of the Arboretum. It looks like a wall of cherry trees! The collaboration of Mt. Ashibetsu and cherry blossoms is as beautiful as a painting.

 

Asahigaoka Park
