SPECIAL WINERY DINNER in AUGUST AT TAMBA WINE, Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba

On Saturday, August 29th, a special dinner event with Tamba wine will be held exclusively for guests of Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba.

 

The theme for August is “Savor Kyoto’s Finest Ingredients!! A Pairing Course Featuring Wachi Ayu Raised in the Yura River and Kyoto Duck.” Enjoy a special course featuring wild Wachi ayu raised in the clear waters of the Yura River and “Kyoto Duck®,” a premium brand of duck meat known for its delicate texture and rich flavor.

Before dinner, a winery tour is also planned to allow you to experience the charm of Tamba wine more deeply. In addition to a tour where you can learn about the winemaking process and the dedication behind each bottle, please enjoy a tasting experience in the barrel cellar—an area rarely open to the public.

* Wild Ayu from Wachi

Raised in the rich natural environment of the clear-flowing Yura River, these ayu are prized for their aromatic and delicate flavor.

* Kyogamo®

A branded duck produced by Yamashiro Nosan. Raised in a hygienic, low-stress environment and managed under a fully integrated system from hatching to processing, this high-quality duck meat is packed with concentrated umami.

Kyoto Tamba Sauvignon Blanc 2024

A wine that won a Silver Medal at the International Wine Challenge 2026. It is characterized by refreshing citrus and herbal aromas, along with a youthful, lively acidity.
