On Saturday, June 27th, a sake tasting event will be held in collaboration with Kizakura a brewery from Kyoto prefecture exclusively for guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba.
Fushimi, Kyoto, has developed into one of Japan’s leading sake-producing regions and continues to preserve its unique sake-brewing culture to this day. At Kizakura, the renowned spring water “Fushimi” is used as the brewing water, harnessing its soft mouthfeel and ideal characteristics for fermentation to the fullest in their sake-making process.
Here's the lineup of distinctive sake varieties featured at this tasting event:
Shiboritate Ginjo: A seasonal sake available from June to August, characterized by its floral aroma and rich flavor
Kizakura Perle: An easy-drinking sake with a refreshing acidity and gentle sweetness
Kizakura Highball Yuzu Sake: A highball made by blending aromatic yuzu juice with sake for a crisp finish
