Sake tasting event held in collaboration with Gensaka Shuzo from Mie. Fairfield by Marriott Mie Okuise Odai and Kumano Kodo Mihama

On Saturday, February 21st, for guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Mie Kumano Kodo Mihama, and on Saturday, March 7th, for guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Mie Oku-Ise Oda, a sake tasting event will be held in collaboration with Gensaka Shuzo, a long-established sake brewery in Odaicho, Mie Prefecture.

Mie Prefecture, home to Ise Grand Shrine, has long been a thriving region for sake brewing. Founded in 1805, Gensaka Shuzo uses traditional methods to brew its signature sake, “Sakaya Hachibei,” a perfect everyday evening drink. At this event, enjoy tasting several types of sake while hearing about Gensaka Shuzo's history and brewing philosophy.
