On Saturday July 26th, Aquarium Backyard Tour will be held for guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Wakayama Kumano Kodo Susami in collaboration with the Susami Town Shrimp and Crab Aquarium. The Aquarium is located adjacent to the hotel and exhibits about 200 species of crustaceans, mainly shrimp and crabs. During the tour, you will learn about the ecology of shrimp and crabs as well as the daily work of the staff in the backyard, which is normally not accessible. It is also a great opportunity to learn about marine life and the aquatic environment through the feeding of sea turtles and interaction with the creatures.
