LOCAL CUISINE COOKING Experience in Kyoto's Largest Tea-Producing Region @Kyoto Minamiyamashiro

On Saturday, July 27th, We are holding a local cuisine-cooking event in collaboration with Wazukaya at Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Minamiyamashiro. Wazuka town, located in Soraku District near our hotel, is a major production area of Uji tea renowned for its exceptionally fragrant premium tea. Join us for a cooking experience using Wazuka’s tea, dive into the charm of Wazuka Town, and enjoy the culinary culture. 

A selection of 3 dishes:
・Cha soba made from Scratch Using Wazuka's Sencha Powder
・Kakinoha-Sushi (Pressed sushi with pickled mackerel and vinegared rice wrapped in persimmon leaves)
・Yoshino kuzumochi(Kudzu starch dumplings finished with kuzuko powder.
You can enjoy the freshly prepared dishes right on the spot.
