Local Photo Tourism Event Held at Sera Kogen Farm in Sera Town, Hiroshima Prefecture! Fairfield by Marriott Hiroshima Sera

From Wednesday, April 29 (holiday) to Thursday, April 30, a “Local Photo Tourism” event will be held in collaboration with Sera Kogen Farm, one of Japan’s largest flower tourism farms in Sera Town, Hiroshima Prefecture. This event welcomes photographer Mariko Yamamoto as instructor and you can take part in an exclusive early morning photo session at Sera Kogen Farm with its tulips in full bloom and explore the charms of Sera Town.

■ Pre Reception & Dinner ― April 29, 2026, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM / Optional Participation, Extra Fee ―

A reception and dinner party will be held at the Japanese tea cafe “Setsugetsufuka Fukuchiin” in Sera Town. We invite you to enjoy interacting with fellow participants while talking about photography and the charms of Sera Town, with photographer Mariko Yamamoto and Isuzu Yoshimune, proprietor of Fukuchiin.

 

■ Exclusive Early Morning Photo Shoot at Sera Kogen Farm and Experience the Charm of Sera Town ― April 30, 2026, 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM ―

Experience exclusive access to Sera Kogen Farm before public opening. Capture stunning photos amidst a field of approximately 750,000 blooming tulips while taking a lecture from Ms. Mariko Yamamoto.

■ Review Session at the Hotel ― April 30, 2026, 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM ―

After the shoot, we will return to the hotel lobby for a review session led by Ms. Yamamoto. Spend this valuable time sharing insights with fellow participants based on the photos you captured.

＊What to bring to the photo session:

A camera capable of taking photos (please refrain from participating using a smartphone)

Layerable clothing for temperature regulation

Please arrange your own transportation between the hotel and Sera Kogen Farm.
