Join Agricultural event in Yabu at Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Tajima Yabu

On Sunday, November 30th, we will hold an agricultural event and breakfast in Yabu City, Hyogo Prefecture in collaboration with an organic farm, wataya farm. Blessed with abundant nature, wataya farm's fields at the foot of mountain ranges like Mt. Hyōno cultivate approximately 100 varieties of vegetables and wheat.

At this event, you will experience harvesting and planting vegetables like daikon radish and carrots, which are in season from autumn to winter. You can take home the harvested vegetables as souvenirs. After that, treat yourself to a breakfast featuring rice cooked in a traditional clay pot using fresh rice from Yabu City, hearty pork miso soup packed with vegetables, and roasted sweet potatoes.

In the soft morning light, immerse yourself in nature and enjoy an autumn experience in Yabu City.

Event Details 

・Date / Time：Sunday November 30th /  7:30～9:30 

The event will be held in light rain. In case of heavy rain or stormy weather, you will have an agricultural experience in a different way. 

・Place：wataya farm fields   

・Price：1,500yen per person  

*Please make a payment upon check in. No cash, only credit card is available.  

*Free of charge for elementary school students and younger. 

・Capacity : 20 people   

This event is exclusively for the guests staying on Saturday, November 29th.   

 

・Schedule   

7:30 Depart from hotel, Walk to the fields (about 10 min.)  

→ Agricultural experience 

→ Breakfast

→ Walk back to the hotel (about 10 min.)   

9:30 Arrive at hotel 

*This tour will be held only in Japanese.   

*Vegetables used for breakfast and vegetables to be harvested may change depending on the growing conditions.  

*Times may vary depending on situations on the day of the event. 

 

・Attire and Footwear：Please join in comfortable clothes

*Since footwear may get muddy, we recommend wearing boots. Wearing a hat is also recommended.   

・What to bring：drink for hydration, Towel   

*Work gloves (for adults) will be provided by hotel. Please bring gloves for your children.
