Join Agricultural event in Yabu @Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Tajima Yabu

On Sunday, November 24th, we will hold an agricultural event in Yabu City, Hyogo Prefecture in collaboration with an organic farm, wataya farm. The event will be held for the third time, offering you the opportunity to experience harvesting vegetables such as daikon radish, carrots, turnips, broccoli, as well as planting onion seedlings. After the harvest, enjoy savoring pork miso soup made with local soybeans and Yoka pork, along with roasted sweet potatoes. In addition, you can take home the harvested vegetables as souvenirs. 

Both adults and children are welcome to participate in this event, which is a great chance to discover the charms of the rich nature in Yabu City. 


Event Details

・Date / Time:Sunday November 24th  8:00~10:30

The event will be held in light rain. In case of heavy rain or stormy weather, you will have an agricultural experience in a different way.

・Place:wataya farm fields  

・Capacity : 20 people  

This event is exclusively for the guests staying on Saturday, November 23rd.  

・Price:Free of charge 

 

・Schedule  

8:00 Depart from hotel

→ Walk to the fields (about 10 min.)

→ Agricultural experience (there will be two or three fields to harvest)

→ Tasting pork miso soup and roasted sweet potatoes

→ Walk back to the hotel (about 10 min.) 

→ Arrive at hotel at 10:30

*This tour will be held only in Japanese.  

  

・Attire and Footwear:Please join in comfortable clothes *Since footwear may get muddy, we recommend wearing boots. Wearing a hat is also recommended.  

・What to bring:drink for hydration, Towel  

*Work gloves (for adults) will be provided by hotel. Please bring gloves for your children.
