Doburoku tasting event in Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture! Fairfield by Marriott Gifu Gujo
On Wednesday, August 12th, guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Gifu Gujo will be invited to a Doburoku and Amazake tasting event in collaboration with the Kokin Denju no Sato Gujo Doburoku Festival Committee in Gifu prefecture.
Yamato Town in Gujo city is certified as an exclusive Doburoku district in 2008, and they produce doburoku with a rich, powerful and deep flavor. At this event, you can sample doburoku and amazake produced by the three breweries that won awards at the “17th National Doburoku Research Conference in Nakanoto,” while learning directly from the brewers themselves. There will also be sales of Gujo-exclusive sake snacks, such as Motai Kobo’s specialty “Motai Smoked Tofu” and handmade side dishes prepared by the head chef at Mikawaya.
