Special Cycling Activity with Utsunomiya Blitzen
On May 18th(Sat)-19th(Sun), we will hold an cycling event in collaboration with Utsunomiya Blitzen, a professional road race team in Utsunomiya for the guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Tochigi Utsunomiya . You will have the opportunity to ride a 45km flat course with a member of Utsunomiya Blitzen, professional rider, Mr. Kosuke Takeyama. This event is suitable for cyclists of all levels, including beginners. On 18th, a social gathering and dinner will be held and there will be a chance to interact with Mr. Takeyama and other participants. Experience the pleasant breeze of early summer while exploring the unknown charms of Utsunomiya.

*This even is held only in Japanese. There is no English guide.
【Capacity】20 people
*Participation is open to guests staying at the hotel on May 18th.
*If the number of participants is less than 10, the event will be canceled.
【In case of rain】 Regarding the decision to cancel in case of rain:
- Phase 1: May 15th, 13:00 : both social gathering dinner and cycling activity will be cancelled.
- Phase 2: May 18th, 13:00: only social gathering dinner on May 18th will be held.
In this case, the participation fee will not be charged.
Cancellation decisions will be made by the organizers based on the weather forecast and other relevant factors on the day of the event.

17:00 briefing (about cycling course, guest rider, introduce each other, grouping, bike check)
18:00 Social gathering and dinner at Mugi-no-Rakuen in Romantic village
Day2:
~9:00 Check out
9:00 Riding clinic at the third parking lot in Romantic village
9:30 Start Riding
11:00 Arrive at Roadside Station Yusuinosato Shioya and short break
11:30 Departure from Roadside Station Yusuinosato Shioya
12:30 Arrive at Utsunomiya Alps Kyo-ya Chaho and Lunch break
13:30 Departure from Utsunomiya Alps Kyo-ya Chaho
14:00 Back to the hotel, greeting
14:30 End of the event
*Please keep your luggage in your car during the ride.
*You can use hot spring facility “Aguri” at Romantic village free of charge after the ride.
*There will be a lunch stop during the course at Kyo-ya Chaho. Menu is Curry rice - 1,500 yen. We will collect money at the briefing on the first day. Only cash is available.

Starting from Fairfield by Marriott Tochigi Utsunomiya and the route passes through the picturesque countryside landscape. Take a break at the 23km point
On the return journey, participants will follow a course parallel to the outbound route, heading south, and returning to Fairfield by Marriott Tochigi Utsunomiya.
